Strategic Planning: Do Our Institutions Need a New Approach?

Dr. Scott Cline
Senior Vice President, Enrollment Management & Auxiliary Services, California College of the Arts

Dr. Scott Cline's experience spans positions at CCA, Stanford University, and Chapman University. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from San Francisco State University in Educational Leadership and Administration, a Master of Arts in Education Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science from Chapman University. Scott is past president of the California and western state associations of student financial aid, and currently serves on a number of committees, including WASFAA Strategic Planning Committee. 

Mike Moss
President, Society for College and University Planning (SCUP)

Mike Moss, CAE, works with SCUP's board of directors on the alignment and execution of SCUP's strategic plan. He works to create an environment where members from all planning types can come together to share experiences and solve their stickiest challenges. Mike started his non-profit management journey in 1992 and his experience extends to state and international associations. He's an active volunteer in supporting association management organizations through board service, facilitation of strategic planning processes, and teaching strategy and governance courses.

Dominique Raymond
Strategy Director,
Lumina Foundation

Dominique (Domy) Raymond is strategy director for partnerships at Lumina Foundation, responsible for amplifying thought leadership, developing new relationships and coalitions, and identifying influencers and change agents. She also advises Lumina’s president on thought leadership opportunities and directs strategic projects and emerging initiatives for his office. Domy has over 20 years of policy experience in higher education, state policy, and workforce development. In 2013, she was one of ten named to the Chronicle of Higher Education’s The Influence List.
